The combination of thermal inserts and seals allows achieving high thermal insulation properties of the structure. Drainage, ventilation, waterproofing, and compensation for thermal expansion of posts and rails are provided.

The system is represented by a wide range of profiles with a width of the end part of 50 mm and the moment of inertia of posts from 32.81 cm⁴ to 939.52 cm⁴ along the X-axis and rails from 3.88 cm⁴ to 190.14 cm⁴ along the Y-axis, as well as a diverse set of components that allow manufacturing structures in the classical variant of glazing.

Application / Advantages

Glazing of facades of varying complexity, both with regular and with particularly high requirements for thermal and sound insulation, manufacturing of terraces, winter gardens.

Thanks to the ability to paint profiles in any color according to the RAL scale, visible aluminum parts can not only serve as a technically important basis for the structure but also become a full-fledged part of the building’s individual image.

It allows you to create rectilinear and curved facade shapes. Any window and door aluminium units can be integrated into the system. Profiles can be painted in any RAL colour.

Profile decoration

Powder coating

The profile is made from primary aluminum 6063, with the option for powder coating in any color according to the RAL scale.

Expanding the capabilities of the Framex F50 system

Mechanical Joint for the Framex F50 Faсade System

The innovative mechanical (button-type) joint is specially designed for the Framex F50 mullion-transom system. It enables simple and fast on-site installation, allowing secure fixing of the transom to the mullion without complex profile processing. Connection type – “parallel installation.”

Unlike classic “dovetail” joints, our connector requires fewer steps, which speeds up installation, reduces labor, and increases assembly accuracy.

There are 3 mounting options for connecting the transom to the mullion, depending on the task:
The gasket follows the transom’s shape and has no protruding parts. The visible part is just 1.5 mm. Perfect sealing and a minimalist design.
Quick connection without additional seals. A universal solution for most transoms.
No cutting of the transom is needed. Imitates overlap installation. Allows water drainage without disrupting the system. Gasket not used.
Advantages of the Framex F50 Mechanical Joint

Integration of Framex FT 72 Window and Door Systems into the Framex F50 Facade System

Special connecting adapters, 72FF28 and 72FF34, were developed for the reliable and efficient integration of Framex FT 72 window and door systems into the Framex F50 mullion-and-transom facade system. These adapters allow for easy placement and fastening of window and door units under the pressure plates of the facade system, significantly simplifying installation. The 72FF28 and 72FF34 adapters ensure high sealing and thermal insulation at the connection points, thanks to a full thermal break in the adapter profiles and additional perimeter rubber gaskets. This provides optimal energy efficiency and a long service life. The adapters support a wide range of facade system infill thicknesses:

Semi-structural glazing

This is a separate solution that represents an expansion of the decorative possibilities of the post and rail facade system F50. Structural features of semi-structural glazing:
The semi-structural glazing expands the design concept and can act as both a standalone design solution and in combination with other facade systems, for example, semi-structural glazing and a regular classic facade or semi-structural glazing and structural glazing.

The technology of structural facade glazing

This is a modern method of attaching insulating glass units to buildings of any purpose. This method allows creating a beautiful glass surface without visible fasteners. Special constructions are used to fix the glass, which not only securely fix it but also conceal the fastening elements.
