Characteristics of the Framex HS180 lift-sliding system:

The main advantage of the single-track design is that the glazing of the fixed part is directly inserted into the frame, reducing the weight and material usage, while increasing the amount of natural light entering the space.

The Framex HS 180 lift-and-slide system can be seamlessly integrated into Framex facade systems.

Recognition

The Framex HS180 lift-and-slide system is primarily designed for glazing large openings. A single Framex HS180 structure can replace an entire wall. The sashes of the Framex HS180 move in the same plane, sliding over one another, which saves interior space when opened.

The weight of a sash in this system can reach up to 400 kg, but thanks to specialized European hardware, opening is effortless.

The reinforced profile allows for the production of large-scale structures with a height of up to 3200 mm.

The system offers four frame configurations: single-track, double-track, with or without a fixed wing.

Single-track designs can accommodate either one moving sash or two moving sashes using a mullion connection. The glazing of the fixed part in the single-track configuration is done directly in the frame, which simplifies assembly and reduces the overall weight of the structure.

Another key advantage of the “warm” sliding Framex HS180 system is its high thermal resistance, which minimizes heat loss through windows or doors and enhances the building’s energy efficiency.

Reliable wind insulation is achieved through an additional sealing contour.
The drainage system and the use of sealing inserts ensure protection against water penetration.

Expanding the capabilities of the Framex HS 180 system

Structural corner glazing Framex HS 180

Structural corner glazing is an opportunity to create a unique ‘transparent corner’ effect that fills the space with light and air, opening up new horizons for visual solutions.

One of the key aspects of such glazing is the frameless corner, which allows you to create ‘invisible’ connections between glass panels. The effect of the ‘floating’ angle expands the space, creating a feeling of lightness.

The sliding system eliminates bulky and fixed structures, offering a space-saving solution without sacrificing convenience. This mechanism ensures a smooth movement of the glass panels and allows for convenient opening and closing of openings – which is especially important for small spaces.

Another important advantage is the maximum light transmission. Due to the absence of corner posts, the glass transmits more natural light, filling the room with light and creating an atmosphere of space and comfort.Framex HS 180 structural corner glazing

This is especially important when you want to achieve a panoramic view and visually expand the space in your home or office.

At the same time, the design guarantees strength and safety. The use of tempered glass and triplex as glazing materials allows you to create a reliable and durable system that is resistant to mechanical damage. In the event of glass breakage, this design will ensure a high level of safety.

Features and benefits:

The importance of professional installation. Experienced installation is essential to ensure that the system functions flawlessly. Errors during installation can lead to leaks or reduced efficiency of the mechanism, making the system less reliable. High-quality installation guarantees the durability and reliability of the entire structure.
