The main advantage of the single-track design is that the glazing of the fixed part is directly inserted into the frame, reducing the weight and material usage, while increasing the amount of natural light entering the space.
The Framex HS 180 lift-and-slide system can be seamlessly integrated into Framex facade systems.
The Framex HS180 lift-and-slide system is primarily designed for glazing large openings. A single Framex HS180 structure can replace an entire wall. The sashes of the Framex HS180 move in the same plane, sliding over one another, which saves interior space when opened.
The weight of a sash in this system can reach up to 400 kg, but thanks to specialized European hardware, opening is effortless.
The reinforced profile allows for the production of large-scale structures with a height of up to 3200 mm.
The system offers four frame configurations: single-track, double-track, with or without a fixed wing.
Single-track designs can accommodate either one moving sash or two moving sashes using a mullion connection. The glazing of the fixed part in the single-track configuration is done directly in the frame, which simplifies assembly and reduces the overall weight of the structure.
Another key advantage of the “warm” sliding Framex HS180 system is its high thermal resistance, which minimizes heat loss through windows or doors and enhances the building’s energy efficiency.
The Framex HS 180 system is designed for easy and reliable integration with the Framex F50 facade system, enabling aesthetically harmonious and technically advanced structures.
For this purpose, a dedicated adaptation component was developed to provide a perfect connection between the two systems.
To maintain a consistent style and aesthetic appearance, Framex offers a selection of Framex F50 vertical mullions and horizontal transoms, which can be successfully combined with Framex HS 180 structures.
This approach allows for the implementation of complex projects, ensuring flawless aesthetics and reliability.
