What is SCN?

SCN or SCSs are a set of mandatory norms to be followed during the design and construction process, approved by the relevant urban planning and architectural authorities

- All regulatory acts and documents covering technical aspects;
- Recommendations, manuals, reference materials;
- Rules and norms related to estimate documentation.

It’s also worth noting that SCNs are periodically supplemented or modified. This is a normal process because construction is a part of our life, and like life itself, things are constantly changing.

Who develops and approves construction norms?

To approve changes or repeal SCN, the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector is used Registration is conducted by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.

Changes are considered to have come into effect or lost their force 90 days after the date of publication of the relevant information on the Construction Portal.
