Features of the material
Thermally insulated profiles are made from environmentally friendly expanded polyethylene, which can be recycled multiple times without loss of quality and retains its properties in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C, making it an ideal thermal and sound insulation building material.
Products made of expanded polyethylene are resistant to silicones, moisture, chemicals, salts, organic solvents, and alcohol and/or gasoline-based substances, making them suitable for any climate.

In the thermally insulated profiles 230036i and 230042i for the Framex F50 system, the design has been updated for convenience of use A new item has been added – 230054i.
Advantages of the new geometry
- They have a higher density.
- The special notch for self-tapping screws allows for a more coaxial installation of the screw into the nose of the uprights and rails.
- They have a more aesthetic appearance And although this is not so significant for the finished structure, it is more pleasant to work with them.
- The new geometry promotes more economical use of sealant in structural glazing.
