TM Framex Joins a Major Industry Project to Raise Standards in Ukraine’s Window and Door Sector
Framex – reliability proven over the years
TM Framex has proudly joined an important professional initiative — the publication of the first Ukrainian edition of the “Guideline for Designing and Installing Windows and Entrance Doors for New Buildings and Renovations”.
This guide has been recognized as a benchmark in Germany and other European countries for over 30 years, serving as a mandatory reference for the design and installation of transparent constructions. Now, for the first time, Ukrainian professionals have access to an adapted version tailored to the local market. This edition is set to significantly improve the quality of window and door installations and contribute to the overall development of the industry in Ukraine.
The publication is the result of close collaboration between the Association of Ukrainian Manufacturers of Light-Transmitting Structures and ift Rosenheim (Germany), one of the most renowned European certification and testing centers for building structures. Carefully adapted to meet Ukrainian realities and current legislation, the guide will serve as a practical tool for architects, designers, engineers, and installers.
Key topics covered in the guideline include:
- Modern standards and regulations for window and door installation;
- Proper design of connection joints;
- Recommendations on energy efficiency and airtightness of constructions;
