Warm threshold

Features of the Framex warm threshold design

The Framex warm threshold is equipped with a thermal break that minimizes the risk of condensation and the associated appearance of mold and fungus on the threshold surface inside the room.

Incorporating a threshold into the design of an entrance door significantly enhances the comfort of its use and reduces energy costs.

Incorporating a threshold into the design of an entrance door significantly enhances the comfort of its use and reduces energy costs.

In door structures, the junction of the door leaf to the aluminum threshold is the weakest point in terms of airtightness and freezing.

To address this issue, an innovative Warm Threshold system has been developed for each of the PVC profile systems: the four-chamber Framex 58, the six-chamber Framex 71, and the seven-chamber Framex 80.

Warm thresholds have a number of important properties:

High mechanical
strength
Resistance to temperature effects up to 200°C during powder coating
During use, it retains the applied coating for a long time
Does not absorb
odors and moisture

Advantages of the Framex warm threshold

The configuration of the lower part of the threshold allows for a warm installation of the entry door.

Polyamide is used for the production of the warm insert.

The use of a thermal break in TM Framex thresholds improves the thermal insulation properties of the structure and prevents the formation of condensation indoors.

As of today, the Warm Threshold system is the best solution for the mass production of PVC doors and meets the high requirements for thermal insulation of premises.

Warm thresholds consist of three main elements: two aluminum profiles and a thermal break profile Each Framex TM threshold is designed for a specific door profile system:

Framex 58

Framex 71

Framex 80
