In terms of home security, windows play as crucial a role as entry doors. The first, second, and last floors of apartment buildings, private homes, balconies, and windows under which gas pipes run are areas accessible to burglars.

ANTI-BURGLARY CLASS – basis
In the profile, only one mushroom-shaped locking cam is used. This is the lowest security class and should only be used where access from ground level is not possible.
ANTI-BURGLARY CLASS – rc1
Using four burglar-resistant mushroom-shaped locking cams with protective latches securely locks the window at all four corners through multiple locking mechanisms and withstands high loads.
ANTI-BURGLARY CLASS – rc2
The most reliable security class contains at least 6 burglar-resistant elements and will also protect your windows from tools like crowbars, thus minimizing the possibility of unauthorized entry into your home or office.
Anti-Burglary Elements
Locking windows, balcony and patio doors using a mushroom cam ensures maximum security. The mushroom cam is a burglar-resistant element of window hardware and is protected when the window or door sash.
STRIKER PLATES
The cam and the striker plate ensure the window closes securely. The striker plate and the locking cam connect in a way that makes breaking into the structure significantly more difficult.
HIGH-QUALITY HARDWARE
The hardware is made of high-quality materials and has a protective coating against corrosion. This ensures the reliability of the window hardware and convenient and trouble-free use of the window.
Micro-lift
The micro-lift is often used on large, heavy sashes. The structural mechanism acts as a safeguard against damage caused by the sash sagging. This hardware element partially reduces the load on the window hinges, allowing the sash to be positioned correctly when closing so that the bottom part does not touch the frame.
Design of Visible Elements
Visible elements of window hardware are designed to complement the entire window construction. For this purpose, special decorative covers are installed on the hinges. This enhances the appearance of the window and prevents dust from entering, as well as prolongs the service life of the components.
Handles with keys
The use of a handle with a lock is a mandatory condition for all levels of window security up to class RC2. Drill protection is installed on the external side of the window handle lock.
Suggestions
- For hard-to-reach windows, class RC1 is sufficient.
- Second-floor windows, when accessible features such as canopies, balconies, or other structures are present, must meet the requirements of class RC2.
- The reduction in the level of protection for window and door constructions is possible only in the case of having an access control and management system integrated into the security alarm system, provided that the response time of the security team does not exceed the standardized penetration time for constructions of the chosen security level.
- It is recommended to use handles with a locking system that prevents the turning of the gear from the outside.
- Burglar-resistant doors and windows must meet the following requirements: installation of the sash with a sufficient number of locking points; locking points are attached to the frame profile, which includes a steel reinforcement with a closed loop; handles with locks are protected against drilling; use of burglar-resistant glazing with multi-layered laminated glass; appropriate protection of the glazing from prying by embedding it or by using reinforced glazing beads; installation of structures using special anchors or screws and securing them at proper intervals.
